The location of Panketo Lodge & Yoga Studio in Hakuba is fantastic, being conveniently close to the clinic, slopes, and the Hakuba train station. It's also just a stone's throw away from the ski-lift area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the availability of wifi is a great convenience.

The staff was courteous, the room was huge, everything was awesome. Units with fireplace. Location: the hotel was just next door to the slopes for accommodation in Hakuba as well as the train station. Furthermore, very near to ski-lift area.

The setting was beautiful, with a great view of the mountains, and it was really quiet and peaceful here. My room had all the amenities I needed, including central heating, a fridge, and a multi-channel TV, and there was a local bus shuttle stop nearby.

A great place for families, with lovely family rooms and a playroom for kids. The breakfast is varied and tasty, and the staff is always willing to help with any questions or bookings. The location is perfect, with the slopes just a short walk away and plenty of nearby eateries. The lodge also offers a commercial kitchen for those who prefer to cook. There are lots of facilities, including a drying room, gear racks, and a computer room with Wi-Fi.
The lodge could benefit from more soundproofing in the rooms to reduce noise levels.

During our stay at Panketo Lodge, we were amazed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to provide helpful recommendations and assistance throughout our trip. The lodge itself felt like a cozy home rather than a hotel, with a beautiful view of the snow scenery outside the window. The breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, giving us a perfect start to our day on the slopes. Additionally, the pet-friendly policy was a huge plus for us, allowing our dog to roam freely and feel comfortable. Even though there were a few small drawbacks, such as the small room size and limited storage space, the overall experience was fantastic. We highly recommend Panketo Lodge for its friendly staff, clean facilities, and great location near the ski resort. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Hakuba!

During my Christmas holiday, I stayed at a lodge in the beautiful snowy mountains. I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the place and the fact that I could bring my dog with me. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they even offered to drive us to the ski resort, which was not too far away. The lodge had a lovely common area that was perfect for relaxing after a long day of skiing.
I did find the location a bit inconvenient. It was a bit of a walk to the nearest ski lift and the supermarket, which made it hard to get groceries and get around.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
